Where is the nasal vestibule

The nasal vestibule is a small cavity between the anterior nostril and the intrinsic nasal cavity, a wider part of the inner surface of the nose below the nasal cavity. It is located at the very front of the nasal cavity, starting at the nasal margin and ending at the internal nostril. The nasal vestibule is covered with nasal hairs and is rich in sweat and sebaceous glands. The top of the nasal cavity is the base of the anterior cranial fossa and is partially connected to the dura mater. The nasal vestibule is lined by the nasal septum, which has a rich vascular network below it. The lateral wall of the nasal cavity has an irregular surface with three protrusions hanging downward, known clinically as the superior turbinate, middle turbinate and inferior turbinate, respectively. The nasal vestibule is prone to rhinovestibulitis, which is a highly prevalent nasal disease. If one often feels nasal discomfort and symptoms of redness and swelling in the nasal vestibule, it may be caused by inflammation of the nasal vestibule.
