What are the mandatory pregnancy tests

The tests that must be done during pregnancy include relevant laboratory tests, ultrasonography, glucose tolerance test, group B streptococcus screening, fetal heartbeat monitoring and so on.

1. Relevant laboratory tests: including blood and urine routine, coagulation four, blood type determination, liver and kidney function, hepatitis B surface antigen, syphilis serum antibody screening, AIDS antibody screening, etc., which can understand the basic condition of pregnant women themselves, and can timely screen for pregnancy complications and infectious diseases.

2. Ultrasonography: Early pregnancy ultrasonography to determine the intrauterine gestation site and gestational week, NT (fetal nuchal translucency) measurement at 11-13+6 weeks of gestation and fetal systematic ultrasonography at 20-24 weeks of gestation to screen fetal structural development, ultrasonography in late pregnancy to understand the size of the fetus, amniotic fluid, and so on.

3. Glucose tolerance screening: 75g of glucose should be taken orally at 254-28 weeks of gestation as prescribed by the doctor to screen glucose tolerance, which can screen out pregnant women with diabetes mellitus and actively guide and intervene to control the blood sugar situation.

4. Group B Streptococcus Screening: Screening for Group B Streptococcus is performed at 35-37 weeks of pregnancy for timely intervention.

5. Fetal heart rate monitoring: Fetal heart rate monitoring is usually performed once a week after 34 weeks of pregnancy to assess the intrauterine condition of the fetus.
