Rheumatoid arthritis belongs to the category of paralysis in traditional Chinese medicine. Chai Hu Gui Zhi Tang is a medicine to harmonize Ying Wei (to make the body’s internal and external qi smooth, each in its own way), and to reconcile Shao Yang (to treat external heat illnesses where the evil is between half-expression and half-li), and it is not specialized in treating paralysis. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not clear.
