Early symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Nasopharynx is located in the back of nasal cavity and above the oral cavity and oropharynx, so the early symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer are not typical and early diagnosis is difficult and easy to be delayed, the common symptoms are as follows: 1. 2.Ear symptoms: unilateral tinnitus, ear stuffiness and swelling, hearing loss may occur when the condition worsens, and ear canal overflow may also occur, which is easily misdiagnosed as secretory otitis media clinically.

3. Headache: It is mostly found in the top of temporal area or occipital area on one side, and is intermittent in the early stage.

4. Swollen lymph nodes in the neck: swollen lymph nodes are the first symptom in about 60% of cases, with deep upper cervical lymph nodes being the most common, progressively increasing in size, with clear borders in the early stage of activity and multiple fusions in the later stage, with unclear borders and poor mobility.

5. Cerebral nerve symptoms: Invasion of cerebral nerves causes corresponding compression symptoms.
