If a family member is found to be staying up late at home and sudden death occurs, the patient should be immediately placed in a flat position, either on a hard bed or on the floor, and CPR should be given immediately, while calling 120 to request medical assistance. CPR is usually performed by alternating chest compressions with artificial respiration, starting with 30 chest compressions followed by 2 artificial respirations. If the patient slowly regains consciousness after CPR at home, you should immediately keep the patient warm, lie him/her down, don’t move him/her, and ask him/her what is wrong. If there are heart problems, such as coronary heart disease, you can give the treatment of heart disease drugs, such as aspirin, nitroglycerin and cardiac pills to give on-site oral, and then wait patiently for medical personnel to come to the rescue.
