What’s with the yellowing of the blood a couple days after the placenta bleeds low?



A bit of yellowish blood in the days following a low placenta bleed may be a normal body reaction, or it may be a combination of vaginitis, cervicitis, and other conditions.

Blood does not turn yellow, yellow discharge behind low placenta should not be blood, if the amount of blood is small, usually brown discharge. If the discharge is light yellow and there are no other abnormalities, it can be a normal discharge.

If vaginitis was previously present, the presence of vaginitis may lead to yellowish leukorrhea, usually accompanied by itching and odor. Patients with cervicitis have oozing of tissue fluid from the uterine cavity and congestion and edema, which may lead to the production of yellow leukorrhea, and thus the symptom of a somewhat yellowish discharge a few days after the placenta hyperemesis gravidarum.

If the discharge is yellow, accompanied by other abnormalities, it is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis and treatment.
