What happened to the shadow in the liver?

A shadow in the liver may generally have the following conditions. First, liver cysts, liver cysts are relatively common benign lesions in clinical practice. Generally speaking cysts smaller than five centimeters often do not have a great impact on the body and can be temporarily left untreated. The cysts show mostly hypodense changes on CT or ultrasound. Second, liver hemangioma, which may appear as low density on CT and high signal on color ultrasound, is also a common benign disease. Generally speaking, hepatic hemangiomas less than six centimeters can be treated without treatment. For hemangiomas larger than six centimeters, surgery or interventional treatment is recommended to avoid hemangioma rupture and bleeding. Third, patients with malignant tumors of the liver are recommended to undergo surgery as soon as possible once detected because of their poor prognosis. If the patient’s physical condition cannot tolerate surgery, interventional therapy, immunotherapy and herbal medicine can be performed.
