Femoral neck fracture healing is manifested by elimination of pain symptoms, absence of abnormal activity, and imaging.
1. Elimination of pain symptoms: there is no pain manifestation in the patient when pressing and percussing in the history area. And, there is no pain manifestation during longitudinal percussion. There was also no localized pain during the patient’s walking.
2. No abnormal activity: the local fracture heals well, there is no abnormal joint activity, the limb moves well, and there is no deformity.
3. Imaging examination: X-ray examination is the main examination, which can find that the fracture line is blurred and there is continuity of bone crust through the fracture line.
As this similar injury is mostly seen in the elderly group, it is prone to complications such as ischemic necrosis of the femoral head and poor healing. Therefore, after a patient has a localized injury situation, it is important to seek early medical examination to clarify the severity of the injury. Conservative or surgical treatment measures and regular medication should be taken to promote fracture healing and recovery.
