Chinese medicine practitioners believe that shriveling of the abdomen and fingers may be a sign of deficiency of qi and blood, or a sign of weakness of the spleen and stomach, which can be treated with medicines such as Bazhen Pills and Spleen Enhancement Pills respectively.
1. Qi and blood insufficiency syndrome: besides shriveled fingers and abdomen, it often manifests symptoms such as pale face, weakness, easy fatigue, panic and dizziness, tinnitus, palpitation and shortness of breath, pale tongue, etc. It can be treated with medicines such as Ba Zhen Wan or Shiquan Da Cui Wan. It can be treated with medicines such as Bazhen Pill or Shiquan Daxin Pill.
2. Weakness of the spleen and stomach: often manifested as low appetite, eating less, easy epigastric (stomach and abdomen) distension, belching (belching), thin limbs, shriveled fingers and abdomen, and so on. It can be treated with medicines such as Strengthening the Spleen Pill or Four Gentlemen Pill.
If medication is needed, it is recommended to use medication under the guidance of a doctor’s diagnosis, not blindly self-medication to avoid adverse consequences.
