How to Rehabilitate Hip Joint in Hemiplegic Stroke

There are active and passive exercises for hip rehabilitation in stroke hemiplegia. Active exercise can also include bridge exercise, heel-knee-shin-ankle exercise and so on.
Passive exercise is applicable to the acute stage of stroke, i.e. 1~2 weeks after the onset of the disease. In this stage, most of the patients are unable to do active activities or their active activities are weakened, and their muscle tone is low. Family members need to assist from the side, help patients to carry out the affected limbs of hip flexion and knee flexion, hip extension and knee extension, etc., 2~3 times a day, each time about 5min.
Bridge exercise, supine position, upper limbs on the side of the body, hip flexion and knee flexion, foot flat on the bed, hip extension to lift the buttocks away from the bed, hold the position for 5~10s.
Heel knee tibial ankle exercise, the heel of the affected foot on the healthy side of the knee, tibial front, inner ankle regular movement.
