Ventolin Aerosol, or Albuterol Sulfate Aerosol, can be inhaled up to 4 times a day, 2 presses each time, and should be used as directed by your doctor. Albuterol Sulfate Aerosol is commonly available in 100µg/snap. The instructions state that the maximum dose of this product is 2 presses 4 times a day or up to 8 sprays a day. Specific use should be under medical supervision. Albuterol Sulfate Aerosol is used to relieve bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and to prevent allergen-induced bronchospasm, or exercise-induced asthma. Adverse reactions to this product can be seen as tremor, headache, tachycardia, palpitations, oropharyngeal irritation, and muscle spasms. It is contraindicated in persons with a history of hypersensitivity to the product.
