The general laboratory standard for carbon 14 is within 100, and if it is greater than 100, it is considered positive. The standard value of carbon 13 is usually between 0-4, and more than 4 should be considered as having H. pylori infection. If there is a definite H. pylori infection and it is accompanied by more conclusive gastric diseases or symptoms, it is recommended to promptly select quadruple drug treatment and usually review after two weeks of drug administration. Active and effective eradication of H. pylori can prevent recurrence of gastric disease and stomach tumors.
