Herbs such as Fengyao Cao, Yinhua and Licorice can detoxify centipede; herbs such as Honeysuckle, Hemerocallis and Poria cocos can detoxify whole scorpion. Centipede and whole scorpion have the efficacy of restraining wind and suppressing spasm, attacking toxins and dispersing knots, and clearing collaterals and relieving pain. They are used for treating convulsions (pediatric illnesses mainly manifested by dizziness, convulsions and convulsions), spasmodic convulsions, and ulcers and swelling and poison (infectious diseases of the surface of the body caused by various pathogenic factors attacking the human body, with symptoms of redness and swelling and pain), and so on. Both herbs are toxic to a certain extent, in which the toxicity of centipede can generally be detoxified using herbs such as fenugreek, silver flower and licorice. In contrast, the whole scorpion can be detoxified using herbs such as honeysuckle, hemlock and cocos. It should be noted that the use of Chinese herbs should be rationally applied under the identification of TCM practitioners, and should not be abused blindly on one’s own. Especially for centipede, scorpion and other toxic Chinese herbs, should not be used blindly, so as not to cause damage to the organism.
