Can I have intercourse just after the ultrasound?

If there is no local discomfort in the vulva or vagina and no vaginal bleeding after the ultrasound, you can have intercourse without any adverse effects. Because the ultrasound probe is long and thin, and the probe needs to be sterilized before use, and a sterile latex sleeve is worn on top of the probe, the doctor’s movements during the examination are gentle and will not cause adverse effects on the vagina or vaginal infections, so you can have intercourse after the examination. If cervicitis or local abnormalities of the cervix are detected through ultrasound, which require biopsy, intercourse is not allowed, as it may aggravate intrauterine infection and cause bleeding during intercourse. After the ultrasound examination, the lesions found need to be treated in a timely manner and intercourse is only allowed after the condition is completely cured, so as not to affect the recovery of the condition by having intercourse too early.
