How to judge thyroid cancer lymph node metastasis

Whether thyroid cancer has lymph node metastasis can be evaluated through symptom observation, medical test and pathological examination. 1. Symptom observation: local metastasis of thyroid cancer manifests as enlarged lymph nodes in the neck; distant metastasis of thyroid cancer manifests as headache and vomiting, coughing and hemoptysis, aching and weakness of hands and feet and other symptoms. 2. Medical test: To judge lymph node metastasis of thyroid cancer, CT, ultrasound and other medical tests can be used to observe whether there are obvious metastasis of lymph nodes, the relationship between metastatic lymph nodes and the surrounding area, whether it invades the internal jugular vein, carotid artery, trachea, esophageal groove, and lymph node metastasis on the side of the neck. 3. Pathological examination: whether there are papilloma cells and thyroid cells in the lymph nodes can be observed by fine-needle puncture and TG test of the eluted fluid. Preoperative biopsy can be done by puncture biopsy, and lymph node biopsy can be done during the operation. Thyroid cancer patients should go to the hospital as soon as possible if they have any discomfort, and complete the relevant examinations under the guidance of doctors to make a clear diagnosis and carry out targeted treatment.
