When a patient has headache and precordial discomfort with nausea, the patient needs to have a CT head examination to observe whether the patient has intracerebral hemorrhage, such as cerebral hemorrhage or subarachnoid hemorrhage, and whether the patient has intracranial occupying disease. The patient also needs to have an electrocardiogram and myocardial enzymology to observe whether the patient has coronary artery disease, angina pectoris or acute myocardial infarction. Some patients can also have a CT lung examination. Patients are likely to have headache as well as precordial discomfort and nausea due to pulmonary embolism, and it is recommended that patients should go to the hospital and have a definite examination under the guidance of a doctor before making a diagnosis.
