Seal Marrow Elixir contains cold medicines and may cause diarrhea (diarrhea) if taken by people with a cold constitution.
It is composed of Cyperus rotundus, Radix et Rhizoma Alba, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, etc. It has the effects of lowering fire, nourishing yin and fixing essence and sealing the marrow, and is mainly used for treating insufficient yin in the kidneys, phase fire, spermatorrhea and premature ejaculation.
It is prohibited for people with weak spleen and stomach and cold body.
The bitter and cold nature of Phellodendron Bark in the formula may cause diarrhea if taken by those with weak spleen and stomach (indigestion, reduced diet, loss of appetite) or those with cold constitution (fear of cold limbs, cold stomach, inability to eat cold, diarrhea).
