Hand, foot and mouth disease the most days of rash

Usually, HFMD is most severe on days 3-7. Patients with HFMD usually have a fever for the first 3 days, and the patient’s mental diet is still acceptable. As the disease progresses, children with severe HFMD gradually develop drowsiness or restless sleep, poor mental health, not eating, unsteady standing or walking, trembling and shaking limbs, and cold ends of the limbs. HFMD is a disease caused by herpes virus or enterovirus, and mild cases are self-limiting. If the most severe days are passed, the fever slowly subsides and the rash is significantly reduced in children with mild HFMD. Oral and pharyngeal ulcers and herpes pain are reduced, and the patient’s appetite is slowly restored. If the patient’s condition is still very serious, he or she should immediately go to the infectious disease department of the hospital for a detailed examination to clarify the diagnosis so that the right treatment can be given. In addition, during the period of illness, patients need to pay attention to hygiene and cleanliness, and avoid eating a spicy and stimulating diet.
