There can be a variable number of moles on the surface of the body, which generally do not require treatment. However, for lesions occurring on the face, eyelids, ears, hands and other exposed areas, they affect the beauty and have a certain tendency to become malignant (their malignant rate varies in various literature, 2% ∽ 42%). Once malignant, the mortality rate is high, which brings great mental and psychological burden to patients, so early treatment is advocated. There are two types of treatment methods for auricular nevus: 1. Non-surgical treatment: Applicable to nevus with diameter below 1~2mm. The advantage of non-surgical treatment is that it is convenient and easy to popularize. Non-surgical treatment for nevus mainly includes laser, electrolysis, electrocautery, chemical cautery, etc. However, since the auricle, especially the earlobe, is a part that is very prone to scarring, non-surgical treatment for small auricular nevi should be used with caution. 2.Surgical treatment: For moles with a diameter greater than 3mm, non-surgical treatment can easily produce more obvious scar growth, so surgical treatment is mostly recommended. Surgical treatment not only needs to completely remove the diseased tissue, but also needs to preserve the integrity of the auricular shape, which is more difficult because of the uneven surface of the auricle and the fine and complex structure. When the area of auricular nevus is 3mm~30mm, local flap repair can be used depending on the location of its growth. When the area of auricular nevus is larger (especially when the nevus is located in front of the auricle), there is often no large enough local flap for transfer; furthermore, using flaps to repair the large trauma in front of the auricle will make the repaired auricle look very bloated, and the uneven structure of the auricle will disappear after surgery, as if it is a “meatloaf”, therefore, using flaps to treat large area Therefore, it is not advisable to treat large auricular nevi with flaps. Therefore, it is not advisable to use flaps to treat large auricular nevi. Using free skin grafting to treat large auricular nevi can not only ensure complete removal of the diseased tissue and prevent malignant changes, but also overcome the disadvantages of auricular bloating caused by flap repair; at the same time, it has the advantages of saving time and economy.
