Patients present with curvature of the lumbar spine, and in appearance, they may show signs of lumbar deformity, some may have a shaved back, high and low shoulders, or an abnormal gait when walking. Other patients may have abnormal thoracic development, which may affect their breathing. Other patients may have symptoms of nerve compression in the lower extremities, such as decreased sensation in the skin of the lower extremities and decreased muscle strength. Some patients may have difficulty walking and have pathological reflexes in the lower extremities. Patients can have an X-ray of the lumbar spine or a full-length X-ray of the spine to make a clear diagnosis. The treatment method can be selected according to the degree of lumbar spine curvature.
