Drinking soy milk with an uncomfortable throat is mostly considered as allergy to soy milk, which can manifest as foreign body sensation and itching in the throat, and even cause dyspnea. On examination, it is seen that the mucous membrane of the throat is edematous, without obvious congestion, and sometimes the larynx can be edematous. Treatment requires immediate cessation of drinking soy milk and administration of anti-allergy medication, such as levocetirizine, which can be supplemented with hormones, such as prednisone, and budesonide nebulized inhalation. If the above treatment is not effective, dexamethasone can be used intravenously. In case of dyspnea, the possibility of laryngeal edema needs to be alerted and a tracheotomy kit should be prepared. In the future daily life, food containing beans should be avoided to avoid allergy and even dyspnea, etc.
