How to choose antihypertensive drugs with diabetes?

Suitable antihypertensive drugs include ACEI class, i.e., converting enzyme inhibitors (such as Lortin or Asterix), long-acting calcium antagonists (such as Boydin or Loxodren), and ARB class (Dynavin or Ambrovir, etc.). You can choose one and take it for about a week with reference to the instruction to see the effect, if it is not satisfactory you can change the medication or combine it. Diuretics and b-blockers are not recommended as first choice and can be used as a complementary treatment to the above drugs. For the first diagnosis of hypertension, it is recommended to check blood lipids and target organs: brain, kidney, heart and eyes in a qualified hospital. Aspirin tablets, statins anti-atherosclerotic drugs are needed if necessary. To improve the therapeutic effect, it is best to strictly limit sodium intake (e.g., no pickles or sauces), eat a low-fat diet, increase potassium intake, and exercise for 45-60 minutes half an hour after meals. Ensure high quality sleep, avoid excessive excitement, agitation, anger, etc.
