Can I have my incisors extracted for a full set of teeth?

Orthodontics does not recommend the extraction of incisors. Generally we remove what we call the front molars, that is, the fourth or fifth tooth from the middle. These two teeth do not have the same serious chewing function as the back molars, and they are not in the front part of the teeth, which will have a greater impact on the aesthetics. For the incisors, it is definitely not recommended to be extracted, because in addition to the cutting role of the incisors when we can think of chewing, it is more important for the aesthetic role of the incisors, and also the role of pronunciation which is ignored by many people. If the incisors are missing, it will have a very serious impact on the patient’s aesthetics and pronunciation. Therefore, it is not necessary to remove the incisors for the sake of aesthetics, because if the incisors are removed, the aesthetics will be lost no matter how the teeth are arranged.
