How to use the new crown antigen test kit

The New Crown Antigen Test Kit is used by performing a nasal swab sampling and then dropping the sample fluid into the test card for observation. The specific operation is as follows.

Before collection, you need to clean and sterilize your hands and wipe off the nose with a tissue.

Then open the outer package of the nasal swab, be sure to avoid contact between the hand and the head of the swab to prevent contamination. When operating the head slightly tilted up, the swab against the side of the nostrils into 1 ~ 1.5 cm, rotated at least four times, so that the nasal swab in the nasal cavity to stay in the time of not less than 15 seconds. The same swab is then used to perform the same operation on the other side of the nostril.

After completing the above operations, the sampled nasal swab was inserted into the sample extraction tube, while stirring the swab at least three times, and then the swab head was folded off, allowing it to be completely immersed in the extraction solution and screwing on the cap.

Finally, unscrew the small white cap from the tube and add four drops of sample to the sample hole of the test card, leave the test card at room temperature for 15 minutes and observe the results.

If the tester is too young to take the sample himself, another adult can help to take the sample as above.

Testers are advised to follow the instructions strictly. If there is a positive result, they need to isolate themselves and report to the community for nucleic acid testing to confirm the diagnosis.
