What to check for during non-menstrual bleeding

There are many tests for non-menstrual bleeding, including gynecological ultrasound, vaginal examination, duplex examination, precancerous cervical screening, thyroid function test, sex hormone test, and blood analysis. There are many causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding, including cervicitis, vaginitis, endometrial polyps, submucosal fibroids, precancerous endometrial lesions, endometrial cancer, ovulatory bleeding, and hormone-producing ovarian tumors, all of which may cause non-menstrual bleeding. There are also hematologic disorders that can cause non-menstrual bleeding.
