What causes your throat to feel like it has an odor

The feeling of bad taste in the throat may be due to physiological reasons or pathological reasons, such as nasal lesions, pharyngeal lesions and so on.
1. Physiological reasons: If the body’s oral cleaning is not appropriate or smoking, food residue retention or oral salivary gland secretion is reduced, there may be the phenomenon of the throat feeling odor. Eat special odor food, such as garlic, leeks and so on.
2. Pathologic causes:
(1) Nasal lesions: If there are inflammation, tumor and other lesions in the nasal cavity, sinuses and other parts of the nasal cavity, it can lead to nasal odor due to bacterial infection, tumor deterioration and other factors, and it can gradually spread to the throat parts, or nasal secretions flow back to the throat, and there is a phenomenon that the throat feels smelly.
(2) pharyngeal lesions: if the body has tonsils, pharynx and epiglottis and other parts of the inflammatory lesions, the throat can be smelled and obvious odor, and accompanied by sore throat, dryness and other uncomfortable symptoms.
