What’s the matter with meatballs on the eyes?

Flesh grains on the patient’s eyes may be caused by flat warts, blepharocysts, and blepharitis. Flat warts are mainly caused by viral infections, and people with damaged skin (trauma), low immunity, and long-term exposure to ultraviolet light and rays are susceptible to this disease. If a patient develops flat warts on the eyelids, they may appear as a flesh-like swelling. Blepharocysts, also known as chalazia, are caused by obstruction of the drainage ducts of the blepharoplasts, retention of secretions, and chronic irritation of the surrounding tissues. Patients may have raised swellings on the eyelids, which are usually not accompanied by eye pain or other discomfort. Blepharitis refers to suppurative inflammation of the eyelid glands. Under the stimulation of inflammation, the patient’s eyelids may appear red and swollen, or even abscessed, and may be accompanied by eyelid pain, photophobia, tearing and other uncomfortable symptoms. It is recommended that patients with elevated swelling of the eyelid should seek medical attention to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
