Joint mobility measurement method

There are several common methods of joint mobility measurement as follows: 1. Measurement by visual inspection, which is mainly used in the preliminary physical examination, that is, the doctor’s own hands are used to fix a certain joint of the patient and make him/her sit in a certain direction of special activities, so as to determine whether there is any abnormality in the patient’s joint mobility and the approximate degree of abnormality by visual inspection; 2. For example, after the patient has moved the shoulder joint to its maximum range, he or she can use a goniometer or a distance measuring instrument to make a more objective measurement of the patient’s joint mobility, but this measurement method is still not particularly accurate. For example, the patient is asked to move the joint to maximum mobility, maintain the posture, and take a plain film of the patient, and then use the relevant measurements on the computer software or plain film to determine the joint mobility.
