TNM staging of lung cancer, T is the size, location and spread of the primary tumor, N is lymph node invasion, M is distant metastasis, and the numbers after T, N and M represent the following conditions:
T: T0: no primary lesion was seen.
T1: tumor maximum diameter ≤3 cm, no peripheral metastasis.T2: tumor maximum diameter ≥3 cm, or invasion of hilar with lung atelectasis.
T3: Tumor invades the pleura, mediastinum, diaphragm or is ≤2 cm from the sternal eminence.
T4: tumor invades the mediastinum, esophagus, cardiac great vessels or presents with hydrothorax (fluid that stays in the thoracic cavity), etc. Tis: carcinoma in situ.
N: N0: no lymph node metastasis. n1: ipsilateral hilar or peribronchial lymph node metastasis. n2: ipsilateral subglottic or mediastinal lymph node metastasis. n3: contralateral supraclavicular, hilar, and mediastinal lymph node metastasis. n4: tumor invades the esophagus or heart vessels, or develops pleural fluid (stays in the pleural cavity), etc.
M: M0: distant metastasis, M1: no distant metastasis. Distant metastasis includes brain metastasis, bone metastasis, abdominal metastasis, etc. Mx: whether distant metastasis can not be evaluated.
If lung cancer is found in the examination, it is necessary to go to the hospital in time and get treatment as early as possible so as not to delay the condition.
