What are the considerations for orthodontic treatment

  First, the need to fully cooperate with the doctor, follow the doctor’s orders and follow up on time is the key to successful treatment. Otherwise, it is difficult to achieve good results.  Secondly, it is normal for teeth to have mild pain and looseness within 1 week after orthodontic treatment starts, and it will be eliminated within a week in general.  Third, orthodontic treatment process need to maintain good oral hygiene. Brush your teeth carefully after each meal, otherwise the food residue on the teeth may cause gingivitis, periodontitis, tooth decalcification and dental caries, which will affect the treatment and oral health.  Fourth, orthodontic treatment can not chew hard and sticky food, large pieces of food and hard fruits need to be cut into small pieces and eaten, otherwise it will cause the aligner to loosen or fall off and prolong the treatment.  Fifth, after orthodontic treatment need to wear retainers, fully maintain 2 to 3 years to prevent relapse.
