How to treat pediatric thrush

Pediatric thrush is mainly treated with medication, local medication for mild conditions and oral antifungal medication for severe conditions. 1. Thrush is a disease caused by Candida albicans infection of the oral mucosa, manifested as a white film on the oral mucosa, and is most common in newborns and infants. Treatment is based on medication. For milder cases, 2% sodium bicarbonate solution can be used for oral cleansing, or a mixed solution of mycotoxin and cod liver oil can be applied locally. 2. For severe cases, oral antifungal drugs, such as mycophenolic tablets, fluconazole capsules and so on. Daily attention should be paid to oral hygiene, and a good habit of brushing teeth and rinsing mouth after meals should be developed. Specific treatment measures have some individual differences, it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the use of medication.
