Clinically there is no celery seed to lower blood pressure, usually using angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, beta-blockers and other antihypertensive drugs for treatment.
1. Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors: mainly act on renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system to reduce blood pressure, common drugs are perindopril, captopril and so on. Adverse effects such as dry cough should be noted when taking them. Severe hepatic and renal impairment, pregnant women are prohibited. Blood pressure, liver and kidney function should be monitored at all times.
2. Beta-blockers: common drugs include metoprolol tartrate. When taking this drug should pay attention to bradycardia, asthma and other adverse reactions. Acute heart failure, severe bronchial asthma and other patients are prohibited. Diabetic patients should pay close attention to blood sugar changes while taking it.
Patients are advised not to take the drug on their own, but should go to regular hospitals to find out the cause of elevated blood pressure and undergo systematic treatment.
