Methimazole tablets are usually used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism, can also be used in the preparation of hyperthyroidism before surgery, radiation iodine therapy after the interval of treatment, usually delivered after meals, the initial dose of the drug is 20mg ~ 40mg, after the condition improves, it can be gradually adjusted to 2.5mg ~ 10mg. It is contraindicated in those who are allergic to methimazole, other thiamide derivatives, thiamide derivatives or the distribution of any excipients. It is contraindicated in persons with moderate to severe blood count disturbances (neutropenia); in persons with preexisting cholestasis not caused by hyperthyroidism; and in persons who have had granulocyte deficiency or severe bone marrow suppression following treatment with methimazole or carbimazole or propylthiouracil.
