Asphyxia can also occur in winter if the quilt is not paid attention to and the quilt is covered on the head and face of the newborn without being noticed, because the newborn will not say or push away the head and face of the quilt, the newborn is the most vulnerable period in one’s life cycle, 28 days is a life pass. There is also a condition of choking and spitting up milk asphyxiation. When choking, milk will be inhaled into the airway, and spitting up when sleeping on your back will also inhale milk into the airway, especially when the vomited milk, after the action of stomach acid, becomes paste-like milk or semi-solid milk lumps, which makes it easier to block the airway and cause asphyxia. How to avoid vomiting, choking caused by asphyxia, parents need to be instructed to gently pick up the newborn after feeding, head over the shoulder, hollow palm gently pat the back from the bottom up, after hearing the diaphragm, indicating that the gas in the stomach has been discharged, 5-10min later, can be put to bed. In bed, it is best to keep the newborn on its side. You can put the newborn’s head and body to the side, or you can put a towel of moderate thickness on the back side of the newborn.
