The ABCDE resuscitation program is usually used for 4-point asphyxia in newborn infants, i.e., clearing the airway, establishing respiration, maintaining normal circulation, medication, and evaluation; it can be categorized into acute treatment and medication. 1. Emergency treatment: firstly, clean up the patient’s airway, suck out the secretions in the mouth and nasal cavity, and open the airway; establish breathing by tactile stimulation or positive pressure ventilation, restore the patient’s circulation, and ensure sufficient cardiac output; in addition, ensure that the surrounding environment is free of air. 2. Drug treatment: if the patient’s heart rate is less than 80 beats/min after 30 seconds of extracardiac compression, epinephrine should be given; if the effective blood volume is insufficient, saline or whole blood and other volume expanders can be used for intravenous infusion; if the patient’s circulation is poor, dopamine can be used for intravenous drip according to the condition. Newborn infants with asphyxia should actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, the specific treatment should follow the doctor’s instructions.
