How long can a patient with grade IV malignant glioma live?

Malignant glioma grade IV, also known as glioblastoma, is highly malignant and has a relatively poor prognosis. Without treatment, approximately 95% of patients survive for less than 3 months. For patients with malignant glioma grade IV, surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and other combination treatments are the mainstay. After surgery, all patients should undergo postoperative conventional radiotherapy, which can be combined with temozolomide for chemotherapy, and then continue temozolomide chemotherapy after radiotherapy.
