How to take Chickweed

Chicken Blood Vine is usually taken as a decoction, or infused in wine, or boiled in a paste.
Chickweed vine is the dried vine stem of legume plants, taste bitter, sweet, warm nature. It has the efficacy of activating blood and tonifying blood, regulating menstruation, relieving pain, and relaxing tendons and collaterals, and is suitable for the treatment of menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, as well as rheumatism and paralysis, numbness of the limbs, and blood deficiency and atrophy. It is usually used as a decoction, or can be soaked in wine or boiled in paste.
It is often used with Angelica sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Rhizoma Cyperus Rotundus to treat menstrual disorders with blood stasis; with Angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata and Radix Paeoniae Alba to treat menstrual disorders with blood deficiency; and with Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Rhizoma Sangsang and Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni.
