The difference between Tobias and Levofloxacin

Tobex and levofloxacin are two antibiotic eye drops commonly used in ophthalmology. Both drugs can be used for the treatment of diseases caused by bacterial infections, and the difference between the drugs mainly lies in the different classification of the drugs. Levofloxacin eye drops belong to the quinolone class of antibiotics; Tobex eye drops, also known as tobramycin eye drops, belong to the aminoglycoside class of eye drops, which is the difference between the two drugs. These two drugs have basically the same therapeutic effect, with adults more likely to choose levofloxacin eye drops and children more likely to choose tobramycin eye drops. If there is local inflammation in the eye, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis or mydriasis, you can choose any of the above drugs for treatment, and the frequency of eye dosing will depend on the severity of the condition.
