Is there a link between high Glycemic Chain Antigen 199 and gastritis?

High Glycemic Chain Antigen 199 is usually associated with pancreatic cancer, liver and gallbladder disease, and gastrointestinal disease. Gastric diseases are mostly related to gastric cancer, and generally have little to do with gastritis. Glycosylated antigen 199, CA199, is currently the tumor marker of choice for pancreatic cancer; it can also be used to assist in the diagnosis of gallbladder cancer, bile duct cancer and other liver and gallbladder diseases; gastrointestinal tumors such as gastric cancer, colon cancer and rectal cancer can also show elevated CA199. In addition, acute pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, acute hepatitis and other diseases can also cause CA199 elevation. There is no clear indication that elevated CA199 is related to gastritis, so when CA199 is elevated, the cause should be clarified under the guidance of a doctor for active treatment.
