Gui Zhi Fu Ling Tang is a Chinese medicine formula composed of Gui Zhi, Licorice, and Poria, which is from the Four Sacred Sources of the Heart, Volume 10.
In this formula, Gui Zhi has the efficacy of sweating and relieving muscles (relieving evil qi on the skin surface) and helping Yang to transform qi; Licorice has the efficacy of benefiting qi and tonifying the middle, clearing heat and removing toxins, and harmonizing the medicinal properties; Poria is good for promoting water retention and eliminating edema, strengthening the spleen, and nourishing the heart; and the various formulae, which can help clearing away the wood, moistening the wind and drying up the body, are all useful in this formula.
