What to do if you have blisters on your teeth

In case of herpes on the tooth bed, the following treatment can be performed. If the x-ray shows the formation of hypodense shadows on the apical part of the affected tooth, destruction of the alveolar bone, swelling of the gums due to inflammatory secretions, and formation of abscesses, the affected tooth can be opened and drained, and root canal treatment can be completed after decreasing the inflammation. Abscesses that do not subside easily can be directly incised and the abscess cavity can be flushed with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to promote healing. If larger blisters appear on the gums and oral mucosa, oral mucosal diseases such as aspergillosis may have occurred. You can rinse with drugs such as tetracycline or chlortetracycline, keep the mouth clean, apply cephalosporin and nitroimidazole antibiotics to prevent infection, and use adrenocorticosteroids systemically to promote healing.
