Turner syndrome is the most common sex developmental abnormality. In Turner syndrome, chromosomal abnormalities include 45XO or 45XO chimerism, short- and long-arm X deletions, and 47XXX karyotypes. The main symptom of Turner syndrome is ovarian dysplasia, which is accompanied by abnormalities in physical development. The clinical manifestations are often characterized by a dull face, wide spacing between the eyes, short stature, usually not exceeding 150 cm, and some patients may have a universal neck, peltate chest, and elbow exostosis. In such patients, the secondary sexual characteristics are usually undeveloped, and the uterus is hypoplastic and has primary amenorrhea on ultrasonography. The treatment of Turner’s syndrome is based on the promotion of height, the stimulation of breast and genital development, and the prevention of osteoporosis.
