Will rubbing the eight bones deplete qi and blood?

Rubbing the Eight Ornaments generally does not deplete qi and blood, and has a relieving effect on some lumbosacral disorders, gynecological and urological disorders. Located in the sacral region, the Eight Organs points include the Upper, Second, Middle, and Lower Organs, two each symmetrically located on the left and right. The Upper Eights are located in the sacral region, between the posterior superior iliac spine and the posterior median line, and are appropriate for the first posterior sacral foramen; the Second Eights are located in the sacral region, below the internal superior iliac spine, and are appropriate for the second posterior sacral foramen; the Middle Eights are located in the sacral region, inside of the Second Eights, and are appropriate for the third posterior sacral foramen; and the Lower Eights are located in the sacral region, inside of the inferior part of the middle eights, and are appropriate for the fourth posterior sacral foramen. Rubbing Eight Ornaments has a relieving effect on lumbosacral disorders such as lumbago and sciatica; on gynecological disorders such as irregular menstruation and distension of the lower abdomen; and also treats urinary disorders such as dysuria (unruly urination). There is no definitive study showing that rubbing the eight bones depletes qi and blood, and the operation needs to be performed by a doctor.
