With the continuous improvement and development of modern plastic surgery techniques, there are many methods of vaginal rejuvenation, and the choice of which method is better to recreate the vagina should depend on the specific condition. The methods are divided into two categories: 1. Non-surgical treatment: The patient is chosen to have a distinct fossa in the vulva, and the vagina is gradually deepened by intermittent or continuous pressure with a special wooden stick or other product mold, from small to large, with appropriate intensity. However, this method is a rather long process, usually taking about 6 months to 1 year to complete, so the patient must have perseverance and lasting persistence to achieve more desirable results, otherwise the previous work will be lost. At present, this method is basically abandoned. 2. Surgical treatment: It is the method chosen to reconstruct the lining of the vaginal cavity wall. (1) Skin grafting method for vaginal reconstruction. ② flap grafting method: such as labia minora flap, inguinal flap, lower abdominal flap, thin femoral muscle flap, etc. (3) Vaginal reconstruction with peritoneal graft. (iv) Vaginal reconstruction with a section of sigmoid colon or ileum with a vascular tip. Each of these methods has its own advantages and disadvantages and should be chosen according to the patient’s specific situation.
