Osteoarthritic signs and self-diagnosis

Osteoarthrosis can start from the age of 20, but most of them have no obvious symptoms and are generally not easy to detect, but usually the prevalence of osteoarthrosis increases with age, and adolescents are also highly susceptible to arthrosis caused by strenuous sports trauma. The most common sites of osteoarthrosis are: knee, distal interphalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints of the hand, cervical spine, lumbar spine, shoulder, elbow, etc. The knee is also the most frequent site of osteoarthrosis. Arthroscopy should be done as soon as possible when the patient has the following symptoms: 1. Soreness and swelling of the joint, especially aggravated by long-distance walking, strenuous exercise, cold or rainy days. 2. Difficulty in going down stairs, weakness of both knees when going down stairs, easy to fall; pain and stiffness when squatting up. 3.There is a ringing sound or palpable bone friction sound in the knee joint during passive movement. 4.A few patients may have transient joint swelling and fluid accumulation.
