Patients with pneumonia have a hospital stay of 10-14 days. Bacterial pneumonia is the most common clinical manifestation. The main clinical manifestations are cough, sputum, high fever, and some patients may have pain in the affected side of the chest that worsens with coughing or deep breathing. If the extent of the lesion is relatively small, the temperature can usually drop to normal in 3-5 days. If the lesion is large and there are complications such as respiratory failure and infectious shock, the hospital stay may be longer. The main treatment for pneumonia is to give active anti-infection treatment, preferably penicillin, but also can choose three generations of cephalosporins or respiratory quinolones.
