Single removable denture according to the different production methods are divided into invisible denture and conventional removable denture, through the denture base or ring fixed in the oral cavity. 1. Invisible Denture. Invisible denture consists of artificial teeth and denture base, the denture base consists of special materials, with elasticity, using the base under the mucous membrane and bone for support, while the use of the base to hold on both sides of the neighboring teeth to prevent the denture from shifting. 2. Conventional denture. Conventional movable denture consists of artificial teeth, denture base and ring, the use of teeth and mucous membranes together to support the ring to be held on the neighboring teeth, no elastic denture base to use the mucous membranes for support. The fixation of removable denture basically relies on the mucous membrane and neighboring teeth, and long-term improper use may cause the neighboring teeth to decay.
