Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy is a heart disease of unknown cause, with a risk of sudden death during exercise, and the effect of drug treatment is limited, mainly surgical treatment. Because of the high risk of surgery for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, not many can be performed in China, so the cost is expensive, at least around 100,000 yuan, for example, the cost of left ventricular outflow tract sparing alone is around 80-100,000 yuan. If the onset of valve disease may occur for a longer period of time, the mitral valve lesion needs to be dealt with at the same time, such as doing mitral valve replacement or valvuloplasty, and the cost of materials alone such as mechanical or biological valves is about 40,000 yuan. If the patient is combined with other underlying diseases, the cost will increase accordingly. This is the cost of the surgery alone, and other costs include intensive care, prevention and control of infection, and related laboratory tests, costing at least 150,000 yuan.
