Are multiple ground-glass nodules in both lungs common?

Multiple ground-glass nodules in both lungs are uncommon in the normal population, and ground-glass nodules in the lungs can be suggestive of pneumonia, tuberculosis and even lung cancer. In normal people, multiple ground-glass nodules are not seen on chest radiographs. When multiple ground-glass nodules suddenly appear in the lungs or do not subside for a long period of time, we should be alert to lung inflammation, tuberculosis and even lung cancer, or they may be clinically common benign lung nodules. Since the clarity of chest radiographs is of limited value in aiding diagnosis, other tests such as CT may be added. In many routine medical checkups, there may be multiple ground-glass nodules on chest radiographs. To really find out whether they are benign or malignant, it is recommended to bring the results of the examination to a regular hospital to improve the chest CT and other auxiliary examinations, and then choose observation or other treatments under the advice of the doctor.
