Enthesopathy is the medical term for herpes zoster, which is characterized most by nerve pain. If it occurs in a young person with a strong resistance, it may also manifest itself as a slight tingling or itching symptom. However, the rash is typical in that it is a cluster of papules on an erythematous base, with a band-like distribution along the nerves, usually not exceeding the midline of the torso. In the early stage of the disease, preferably within three days, active antiviral, nerve nutrition and pain relief treatment is administered. In case of elderly people, they should be treated more actively with a treatment course of 3-4 weeks, otherwise, especially in elderly people over 50 years old, it is easy to leave postherpetic neuralgia. Even if the skin on the surface has recovered well, the nerves inside have scarred and still have varying degrees of pain, causing a decrease in the patient’s quality of life. Therefore, herpes zoster, also commonly known as serpentine dragon, should be treated actively.
